Getting Started -

The administrative backend of Joomla allows users to edit the content or add a new content. One must log into the Joomla's Administrative control panel to add or edit the content.

Accessing the Application.

To access the Joomla application as an administrator please open up the Joomla Admin Login icon in your desktop. This will take you to Joomla Admin Login Page. Alternative way is to point your browser to http://localhost/joomla/administrator/ , Type in the Username as admin and password as your Instance_ID. The instance ID of your EC2 instance can be seen in the desktop top right corner or by going to your AWS console. (please refer to the above 'where to find the Instance_ID" section). After logging into Joomla Application as an Administrator first you have to change the default admin details with your own details. One can change the username and password by clicking on Super User which is under LOGGED_IN USERS in the Joomla Control panel. Remember to save. To access your site, click on Your Site icon in your desktop or otherwise point your browser to http://localhost/joomla/ . .
